Dariusz Kalinowski is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Harvent Capital. He specialises in finance, in particular: capital markets, business valuations, and various forms of debt financing.
Owing to his professional experience, he is able to use his advanced financial knowledge in operational and strategic management.
Previously, for over 15 years, he was a member of the management board of Emperia Holding, including as the president of the board of Emperia Holding for the last 6 years, and the president of the board of Stokrotka. Prior to joining the Emperia Group, he had held key managerial positions in the food production and banking sectors. In banking, he was first involved in capital markets, and then responsible for financing large investment projects, including those concerning the arrangement of syndicated loans.
During his professional career, he has gained extensive experience in the field of mergers and acquisitions, as he has been in charge not only of the financial aspect of the transactions, but also the full operational integration of the merged entities.
As he spent 15 years as a member of the management board of Emperia Holding, a company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, he knows well the realities of the Polish stock exchange, and has already earned the trust of a wide range of individual and institutional investors. During that period, he was responsible for a series of complex operations, such as mergers, acquisitions, subsequent share issues, business divisions, sales of material assets, and the acquisition of a strategic investor.
By education, Dariusz Kalinowski is an economist. First he graduated from the University of Szczecin, and then he earned an MBA degree from the EU Business School in Switzerland.
